The saints of this lineage have dedicated their entire life practising Japa, Tapa and Tattvaprachara. Special mention should be made for Sri. Raghottama Theerta, Sri. Raghuvarya Theerta, Sri. Raghunatha Theerta, Sri. Raghupraveera Theerta, Sri. Raghutilaka Theerta and Sri. Raghumanya Theerta. The knowledge and practised of the saints is highly memorable. The worship of the icons, the learnings and teachings of the saints, the process of shastric work, the encouragement of the scholars, performance of festivals and Aradhana on a large scale are all regular practices of the Mutt. The Mutt offers Annadana to the pilgrims and needy people. The cordial hospitality of the Mutt is praiseworthy.
Presently His Holiness 108 Sri. Raghuvarendra Theerta Swamiji is the successor of this lineage. Being a learned scholar, he gives utmost importance to traditional values and sagic disciplines. He takes keen participation in resolving the issues of the Mutt skilfully. Sri. Raghuvarendratirtha Swamiji voluntarily performs Japa, Tapa and worship of the icons which have been worshipped since the beginning of the Sanyasa Parampara. He takes active initiative in the development of the Mutt.
Lastly, there needs to be a mention that the Bhimanakatte Mutt holds a glorious history of five thousand years and the proof of this history is tested and recorded by the archaeological survey department. Please find the softcopy of the proof attached below.
